- Don’t use the outlined version of the Interlocking GT or the athletic word mark (logos 16-111 on logo sheet). These are exclusive to Athletics.

Additional Rules for:
Campus units or departments (including those in locations other than the main Atlanta campus) may use the Institute primary logo, extended logo, or unit combination logo in communications and for branded items purchased from an official licensee. If the available space on merchandise, apparel, or promotional items is too small for the official department logo, or if no logo is available, the name of the campus unit, program, or initiative may be printed beneath an Institute logo. However, these variations are not permitted for use in print or digital communications, websites, or business cards.
This includes merchandise used within the department (staff shirts, pens, etc.), given as gifts, or sold.
- See the Brand Guide for Campus Units and Spirit Mark Usage guidelines.
- Do not use the Athletics wordmark.
Coordinate choices for tabling, environmental branding, communications materials, and promo items. If your people, tabling, and presence clearly identify your unit or group, promo items and apparel can be branded with primary Georgia Tech logos. EXAMPLE: Career Center polos for personnel, stand-up banner and tablecloth with Career Center logos, print collateral with Career Center logos, and all giveaways include the primary Institute marks.
CUSTOM LOGOS ARE NOT PERMITTED. No other logos, symbols, or marks may be used to represent Georgia Tech. Individual units may not create their own logo, and existing visual elements, including graphics, symbols, or icons unique to individual campus units, may not be used as dominant, freestanding components resembling a logo. Individual units, programs, or initiatives that have created their own logos, or have had individual marks created for them by third parties or students, may not use such marks to represent their unit or Georgia Tech. Find more on Custom Logos in our Brand Guide.
